Breaking Ireland Grading
You can now be fully graded through breaking Ireland on 5 different skills with beginner to high levels in all the breaking elements.
- top-rock
- footwork and floorwork
- freezes
- powermoves
- flips(acro tricks).
The disciplines covered above are the core foundation which should be considered by a well rounded dancer.
The grades are broken down into 3 levels of:
- bronze(beginner)
- silver(intermediate)
- gold (advanced)
In each breaking skill and will be presented in the form of a patch of honor to apply to your crew or breaking Ireland vest.
Show off your fresh vest with as many badges as possible to show your hard work and many skills which in future will stand to you in becoming a teacher if you choose.
Bronze – level 1 – Top rock test requirements

The candidate must demonstrate each figure listed above. The examiner will select the music for each test. Bronze 1 ‘Top Rock’ and Bronze 1 ‘Footwork & Floorwork’ are separate tests.
